Hi, my name is Katrice, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.

Last week, my world was turned upside down when my son, Kris, collapsed and suffered a serious fall. What we thought was just a scary moment quickly turned into something far more devastating. After several tests, doctors found massive blood clots in his heart.

My baby is fighting for his life in ICU, and I haven’t left his side since. As a mother, nothing matters more to me than being here with him every moment, praying, hoping, and holding on to faith. But the reality is—while I’m here, I can’t work. And the bills at home are still coming.

I’m humbly asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. I’m trying to raise $3,500 to cover this month’s bills and transportation while I stay here in the hospital with Kris. Every dollar will go toward keeping a roof over our heads and making sure I can be fully present for my son.
