As many of you know, the Cathcart family are some of the most generous and kind people around. They always have their door open to anyone and treat everyone as their own. Well now it’s our turn to return the favor. 

Their son, Ronnie Cathcart, received a life changing diagnosis the week of July 19th, 2021. He has what’s called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and will start treatment at UCI as soon as possible. 

As we know, that kind of news can throw your whole world upside down, but Ronnie and his family are fighters, and we know that God is on their side. 

 

A.L.L. is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects white blood cells in the body. It has been studied, tested, and treated on many patients and occurs when a bone marrow cell develops errors in its DNA. It is treatable, thank you God,  but it does require an unimaginable amount of medical and emotional attention in order for it to be taken care of properly. 

 

Whether it be going through chemotherapy, hospital visits/stays, loss of family income due to the situation at hand, and many other unexpected expenses that go along with being diagnosed with Cancer. The Cathcart’s will be in over their head with bills and this is where our community comes in. We are starting this Gofundme to ease their minds a little bit, bless them with peace of security, and make sure they know they are supported and loved during this challenging time. The last thing they should be worried about is money. These kinds of things are expensive and we want to help in anyway that we can.

 

We saw a need and felt called by God to create this for Ronnie, Daniella, and the Family. If you can, please donate whatever you feel comfortable with. Lastly, we are calling for constant prayer. Prayer for Ronnie and his diagnosis, that God heals him and restores his health, and that throughout the process he remains in good spirits and feels God’s love through the people around him.
