We are so glad to have all the prayers and support from our family & friends during this difficult time.  We cannot express how much we appreciate all the concern.  We are now at the point where we will have to travel to DC or further to continue Ella's treatment.  The doctors are puzzled by Ella's case.  It looks like she may actually have two separate tumors.  First, the Optic Nerve Glioma that can be treated with chemo.  The second, and much tumor, is still a bit of a mystery.  They would like to be able to remove it competely with surgery but it is located in a very sensitive area.  When we get to the Children's National Medical Center in DC they can do an fMRI which will show how close the tumor is to the parts of her brain that control motor skills. From there, they will decide if they can do the surgery or if they have to look for other options. We will do anything and everything to make sure our little girl gets the best treatment possible.  But we may need a little help along the way.  The next month is going to include a lot of travel between here and DC or possibly even Boston.  Plus we have started to receive those dreaded medical bills.  We would not ask for help if it was not absolutely necessary.  But like I said, we want to be able to go whenever and wherever it is necessary to get our babygirl the best treatment possible!  Please continue to keep her in prayers!  That means more than anything to us!
