Help Dave Papoi Medical Costs
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I am helping fundraise on behalf of David Papoi and his family— for unexpected medical, surgery, and medivac costs.
8/2/21 - today I learned that Dave has exhausted all of PTO hours. At this time Dave is awaiting to hear if medical leave will be approved. Please read latest update

On Thursday, July 15th, 2021– David was playing soft ball in the last inning, with a perfect hit! Running to 1st base when his left femur broke.
Right! How could it just break when he was only running!?
After 4 1/2 hour medevac and all Friday in Seattle harborview emergency department David was finally sent in for surgery around 1:30 that Friday.
Surgery went very well with little to no complications. He’s on his way to recovery and months of physical therapy ahead. Any donations will help with travel and medical bills.
Since he has not been able to work for some time, I would like to help his ability to pay for his living expenses and other bills associated with this unexpected time away from his career while healing from traumatic femur repair surgery.
The funds will help with Dave’s monthly home payment, any utilities, and other bills on his road to recovery. We do not know how long this recovery will take, but we do know Dave is strong.
Our plan is to help cover most expenses to ease his mind during these times so he can focus on healing and regaining function and strength. We miss seeing you Dave around the SEARHC Campus!

“We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all your help. You have no idea how grateful we are to have such amazing friends and family to help us through this unexpected adventure.”- Dave Papoi
