Lifestyle Christianity University

My name is Luther Gibbs V, and I just recently graduated from Christopher Newport where I majored in Political Science and played basketball. While my time in school I encountered lifelong friends and great opportunity’s that led me to grow into the person I am today.

Unfortunately, during my time at school I severely struggled with my faith and my walk with the Lord which resulted in me becoming broken, lost, and confused about the identity of whom Christ intended for me to be. With trials and tribulations always seeming to hover over my head, instead of turning to God for my strength, I turned to myself until myself was no longer strong enough.

It was not until near the end of my time at school that I started realizing that God needed to be at the center of my life, but even then, while wanting to implement him, I still wanted to remain in the life that I was living. As we all should know God is not a halfway type of King, you are either all in or all out. So, after more time running from the Lord, I finally came to a place where I had no choice but to change the way of my life and to change the way that I think. I grew up in church and was always extremely familiar with how God operated and his love for me. The only issue that I was blinded to was the fact that the relationship between he and I was never my own, and that intimate relationship that makes his promised love to us so beautiful was never recognized until I truly had to call out to God asking him to be my strength.

Let me tell you all something, he is definitely my strength today, and he has restored everything inside of me that was lost and filled me with the childlike joy that I once was full of. My life is truly a walking testimony and I, Luther Gibbs V, once the wayward son, has returned home to our heavenly Father. I am asking for donations to anyone reading this, to contribute to my goal of raising money to pay for my first year’s tuition at Lifestyle Christianity University in Watauga, Texas.

This school will teach me how to equip the entirety of the word of God and the gospels into my lifestyle that will forever change me. I will not only be learning, but I will be transforming into the man of God that our heavenly father always intended for me to be. This school is under the guidance of Todd White, a powerful man of God who wants to fill the world with believers of Jesus and restore the brokenness of our generation with the one true and permanent source of peace, Jesus Christ.

I believe that the Lord has called me to this school, and I am so excited to get there. I desire a 24/7 relationship with God and want him to be the focus and the center of all things that I do in my life, but I need your help.

I will be working full time to pay for my everyday expenses as well as my living expenses. If any one of you reading this want to know more, or even want to ask me more specifics about my testimony, I would be more than willing because it will just give me more of a chance to talk about how awesome God is.
