A little bit about Lexi
Lexi is a beautiful talented kind spirited child who just simply loves everything and everyone! She loves her baby sister Aeris and playing with her cats. She enlightened me the two hours we spent together playing "hide the rock" around their Wilmington cottage throughly enjoying the simplicity of hide and seek in a new and exciting fashion. She deserves to play this game for many more years to come this is where our VILLAGE comes in to help!



Lexi's Diagnosis
Thursday evening Lexi was air lifted from New Hanover Regional Medical Center to Chapel Hill to discover she is suddenly battling for her life. Childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many immature lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). Childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (also called ALL or acute lymphocytic leukemia) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. She's officially in for the fight of her life and I believe we need to reach out and help this family financially!


Ashley is a local mama who has been building her village via attending Breastfeeding USA's Breastfeeding Cafe hosted by Angel Food Lactation and the hospital breastfeeding support group! As moms of little ones it's our turn to reach out and touch this mama, to show her how our VILLAGE really cares about each and every mama that enrolled herself!

The financial burdens of living In a hospital, having a small breastfeeding infant while battle against cancer in your oldest child can take its toll emotional on any Mommy and Daddy! Our goal is to ease the stress of finances while they focus on getting sweet Lexi Healthy and Home!
