Hello, My name is Mark. In April of 2016 I was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma on my face. This is a type of skin cancer that usually is not fatal if caught early. Luckily, it was in an early enough stage that at this time, it does not pose serious risks to my health. Unfortunately, my insurance would only cover a small portion of my treatment. As of now, with medical bills and work missed, I have racked up $16738 of debt. I am trying hard to catch up with these expenses, but now, in the midst of dealing with the cancer, the IRS has audited my payroll taxes from 2010 and 2011 and is claiming I owe them $17000(Crazy, right!). They have threatened to levy my bank account, which of course will put me out of business and bancrupt me, and make feeding my kids very difficult. Of course, I am going through the appeals process, which is the most frustrating experience I have ever dealt with.
Luckily I have great parents and a great spouse who have helped me as much as they possibly can, but I can't ask them to help any more. It would mean so much to me if you could help me pay off some of this debt. I would be forever in your debt and would even make an attempt to pay you back any way I can. Trust me, I won't forget. I thank you in advance for your kindness for helping me. God bless you.
