Hi there supporters of this campaign! Here is a long-awaited update!
We continue to wait for our cows to come home. They are safe at their temporary but amazing respite ranch in California. They continue to gain weight and get healthier each day but they can't come to their forever home until a vet will give them a certificate of health so they can legally and safely cross state lines. So far, our girls have been treated for feedlot pneumonia, have had their hooves trimmed and have been eating to their hearts content. They are still fearful of humans given their past, but are learning to trust the amazing humans that spared their lives, Amanda Sorvino and Cody.
Meanwhile, at the farm in Sisters, we've been busy collecting tons of hay and hard at work clearing land and building a fence! Several amazing volunteers came out today and worked in 95 degree heat for the girls that have captured all of our hearts. I can't thank you donors and volunteers enough ❤️❤️❤️. Please check out our Facebook page for pictures of Hope, Faith and Charity's pasture in progress!
HOWEVER....
This mission has been costly and we still need funds. Any amount helps. We've got enough money for the hauling cost and health certificates. Charity, will require on-going medical care and could use a sponsor. We still need funds to make them the pasture of their dreams where they can kick up their heels and run! We think they deserve it.
