Hi, my name is Samantha Scoco and I created this GoFundMe page for my sister Rebecca Lake who has been displaced due to a flash flood that has completely destroyed her basement apartment in Averill Park, NY on Wednesday, July 14th. She and her boyfriend were unable to salvage any of their belongings except for their dog Daisy. To make matters worse, her renter’s insurance policy does not cover flood damages therefore she must pay for everything on her own.

Rebecca is a hardworking daughter of immigrants who wants nothing more than to rebuild her life. Please share this message and support her in any way you can to help replace what she has lost and to move forward from this tragedy. All is appreciated. Thank you.
