This is Abdulaziz an 18 year old who has severe autism living in Kenya. His family are poor and the area they live in is heavily populated with mosquitoes. He is locked to a pole in a room made of iron sheets because he has a tendency to wander off. With a person who suffers from this type of autism it is very dangerous. Abdulaziz has no basic life skills due to his condition and cannot interpret danger.

I have started this campaign because my family relates to this family as my youngest brother, Yusuf has the same condition. For the last two years my mother has been sending money to support the family where she could. On first seeing a video of AbdulAziz all I could see was my brother Yusuf and it made my heart heavy. We understand how hard it is for someone with this condition and the affect it has on the family as a whole. They (both Abdulaziz and my brother Yusuf) need around the clock surveillance and care. Alhamdulillah we have been fortunate by the grace of Allah and we have been able to keep Yusuf comfortable.

The aim of this campaign is to accumulate enough funds to build Abdulaziz a room. We will also install a gate for security and provide furniture and mosquito nets. Any funds left over will be used to further support the family and try to make Abdulaziz’s life more comfortable.

Sadaqah (charity) averts calamity and increases sustenance and blessings in one's life.

Allah says in the Quran, " Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned. " (Quran 2:245)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said " Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire. " (Hadith, Tirmidhi)

He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqah:
" The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity. " (Hadith, Tirmidhi)
