Harry Donovan WWII Vet Mustang Fund

Donation protected
I'm setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my Grandpa Harry Donovan. He was a WWII B-17 Pilot who flew 23 missions into Germany and also flew POWs home after the war.

For years now he has been trying to get his 1967 Mustang restored. Originally he bought the Mustang for his wife (now deceased) and the car has extreme sentimental value to him.

In 1969, the 94-year-old veteran bought the Ford Mustang for his wife Marie, who drove it until she passed away in the year 2000. Harry decided to have it restored in her memory in 2009.

Harry arranged to have a local mechanic work on the vehicle and quoted a price to have it fully restored. Unfortunately, Harry ended up trusting the wrong mechanic.

After paying for the work, Harry got his car back but not only was it not restored but was missing the engine, transmission, hood, radiator and some other parts.

If you would like to read a more in-depth story about Harry and what happened to his 1967 Mustang, here is a link to an article that the IndyStar newspaper published recently.

The money raised will go to restoring his Mustang. Any donation small or large would be greatly appreciated. If there is any money leftover after restoring the car we will be donating it to a Veterans charity.

Thank you very much. This would mean the world to my Grandpa.
