I've been accepted into Royal Veterinary College at the University of London for Fall 2021, and intend to move to London, UK in September! 

Although I am incredibly overjoyed, and excited with this amazing news, I am short on a few expenses. I’ve been blessed to be able to pay my college’s deposit ($5,258) and plane ticket ($959) out-of-pocket. Unfortunately, my student visa/required healthcare ($4,214) and transportation for my Emotional Support Animal, Zoë, will cost me an additional $3,500. 

I grew up in Flint, Michigan, in a low-income household, and to become a Veterinarian has always seemed like a far-fetched dream. Yet here I am, accepted to the #1 Veterinary school in the world. To be Black, a woman, and Flint-native I hope to inspire my family and community that anything is possible.

This GoFund me is a great asset to help my immediate costs of my student visa, my Emotional Support Animal, Zoë, and other necessities to sustain me abroad as I get settled.
