I would like to try to raise money to help Aaliyah (19) and Alex (22) who fell victim to the 100 year flood in Bensalem, PA on 7/12/2021.
Aaliyah (4months pregnant) and her fiance Alex along with their dog, cat, turtle and fish are currently displaced and staying at a hotel due to the massive flood in their basement apartment. Renters insurance does not cover damage from flood and almost everything that they both worked hard to get is damaged.
They are currently using funds from their savings, as well as from their parents to pay for lodging at a hotel, a storage unit and unexpected expenses. Unfortunately, their funds will be drying out quickly.
Most of the furniture in their apartment as well as clothing, shoes, electronics and personal items are destroyed. They aren’t even sure if they are able to go back to their apartment.
They are also losing time from work to deal with what happened.
