Steve Berry- Plane Crash Survivor

Boone Family, please pull together to help support Steve Berry. Steve was one of the two survivors in the plane crash that occurred Monday, April 25th on the Boone Golf Course. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Any amount you can give will tremendously help, even if it's a dollar! Annette (Steve's wife) hasn't left his side. She didn't ask for help, but agreed they needed help. Her work family has created this page for them and will provide updates to his status as they are available. They are both unable to work right now and have large medical bills coming their way. Steve had to be air lifted twice on Monday. He is currently in Wake Forest Baptist Burn Center with burns to 50% of his body. He had lacerations to his face, multiple facial fractures, compound tibia fracture, he is a on a ventilator currently while being sedated due to severe pain levels, and was just diagnosed with pneumonia. Today, they started debriding his burns to apply shark and pig skin to prepare for skin grafts within the coming weeks. Any donation will go so far! Annette sends her gratitude for any prayers or donations you can make. Come on--let's help them out!
