It is with a Heavy heart I Anna Andrade ( Maria's god-daughter /cousin) am asking for Maria Garcia's family, friends and community to help donate funds for Funeral services and Medical expenses. As Many of you may know Maria has been battling Sarcoma Cancer for few years now, due to the side effects of Chemo and Radiation it severaly scarred her internally that made it impossible to recover from. Even thought Maria fought strong and hard for her life. It was ultimatly not in the cards for her to overcome this unforgiving disease.
( As of today (7/22/16) Maria is still alive but we have been told it can be anytime now. )
Many Know Maria one of the kindest, sweetest, loving hearted person that would do absolutley anything for her friends & loved ones. She has always been a caregiver. Weather it was teaching her Students @  Gretchen Higgins Elementary or Caring for both her parents until they both passed peacefully at home with the help of her Brother John Garcia.
I could literally go on and on about how wonderful Maria is/was and how her life was cut way too short.
But at this time I just would love all of us to show Maria & John Garcia how much we care for them by help lifting the financial burden that her Brother John will have to deal with after his sister passes. Please lets all give what we can. Even if its a little bit, as little as taking Maria out for Lunch or dinner one last time. Or as much as you are willing and able, it all adds up and can do a great deal of help.
