A WheelChair and Carseat For Kaden
My son Kaden, as many of you know, has several disabilities. He is severely autistic, has lennox-gastaut syndrome, a chromosomal disorder, and a behavioral disorder.
Lennox-Gastaut is a severe form of epilepsy, one of which is resistent to anti-seizure medication. With that being said, when Kaden has seizures, either he is unable to walk, or is extremely unstable.
The state of WI denied to cover the cost of his wheelchair. His dad's insurance covered 65% leaving a remaining balance of $651.50.
His car seat was also denied by the state. Again the insurance covered 65% leaving a remaining balance of $900. The state denied the car seat because they felt it was unnecessary. Kaden can become very violent in the car and he knows how to unbuckle the seat belt. He has hit me, bite me, kicked me in the head, and threw a toy at me leaving with a concussion all while driving. It is not safe for him to ride without a carseat, obviously i can't afford the price of the seat. Anything therapeutic is outrageously priced! I do have a vest, but a carseat would definitely be more secure and much more safer!!
I am not asking for help with any more than the cost of the wheelchair and carseat! If you can help great, if you can't that's ok too.
I am just reaching out for some assistance. I don't want to give the whole "whoa is me, i'm a single mother" speech. But I am lol and could really use some help with this one!

This was originally just for his wheelchair, but so many people stepped forward and helped and the cost was immediately covered!! I couldnt believe it. I am adding the carseat because i could truly use the help. People have continued to donate even after the original price of 652 was met!! I want you all to know anything extra will go to the cost of his carseat!! Especially now that i can fully cover his wheelchair!!!
