Tragedy has struck and the Alanis Molina family still needs support and will for a long time to come.
In the early morning hours of Sunday July 17, 2016, headed home from a wedding Sergio Alanis and his wife, Marilu, were struck by a 16 year old drunk driver going 90 miles per hour who ran a stop sign. Sergio, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend did not survive this horrific accident. He worked hard all his life to one day enjoy everything he had worked for but specially to enjoy his family. When he was finally able to do this all his plans were destroyed in seconds . His wife Marilu was critically injured and has remained in ICU since the accident without knowing what happened to the love of her life. Her daughters Daisy and Jessica have been by her side and taking care of the arrangements for their father. This horrific accident happened in Mexico where American health insurance is not accepted. The family is having to pay for all medical procedures for Marilu before any procedure is done. They are having to pay around $8,000 cash daily until she is healthy enough to return back to the US, no one knows when this will happen. Once back she will still have a long road to recovery as well as dealing with the loss of her beloved husband. We are asking for prayers and support from all who can help in any way possible. Any amount is truly appreciated.

Una tragedia a llegado ala Familia Alanis Molina y todavía necesitan de nuestra ayuda y así será por los días que se aproximan. En las tempranas horas de la mañana del Domingo, 17 de Julio cuando la pareja regresaba de una boda, Sergio Alanis y su esposa Marilu fueron impactados por un joven de 16 años que manejaba en estado de ebriedad a aproximadamente 90 millas por hora y no respetó un señalamiento de Alto. Sergio un esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo cariñoso no pudo sobrevivir este horrible accidente. El trabajo desde jovencito para cuidar de su familia y algún día poder llegar a disfrutar todo lo que se gano trabajando. Cuando por fin logró dejar de trabajar y disfrutar, todos sus planes se destruyeron en segundos. Su esposa Marilu está en Cuidados Intensivos en un Hospital de Monterrey México sin saber lo que le ocurrió al gran amor de su vida. Sus hijas Daisy y Jéssica an estado al pendiente de su madre mientras también organizaban los trámites para su papá. Este trágico accidente sucedió en México donde el Seguro Americano de la pareja no es válido. La familia a tenido que pagar cualquier procedimiento médico antes que sea realizado. La familia tendrá que pagar aproximadamente $8000.00 dólares diarios hasta que ella esté en estado de salud estable para viajar a los Estados Unidos. Aún no se sabe cuando esto sea posible. Cuando regrese tendrá un camino largo de recuperación y también tendrá que aprender a vivir sabiendo que su amado esposo ya no estará. Estamos pidiendo mucho de sus oraciones para la Familia y también cualquier ayuda será grandemente agradecida. Esta Familia es maravillosa y creen grandemente en el poder de la oración.
