Jim's Medical / Relief Fund
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Karl Frye; I'm the brother of Jim Frye.
On March 7, 2016 Jim Collapsed at work and was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest. God chose to spare his life, however he had to have a permanent pace maker installed. Jim is currently resting at home and working to regain his strength.
This situation has hit the family by surprise. This is a very hard and stressful time for Jim and his family. We are still unsure to what capacity Jim will recover and what the recovery time will be.
Jim is a full time truck driver and does have medical benefits. However, between the high cost of such a major procedure, the stay in ICU, deductibles, and co-pays, Jim's medical insurance will not cover all of the expenses. Furthermore, the doctors have indicated that Jim is not allowed to so much as drive a car (this will be re-evaluated at his one month checkup with his cardiologist). At this point, the doctors cannot guarantee that Jim will ever return to his current job.
I know that all of us at some point have experienced the financial struggles of managing expenses even when we are healthy and have two incomes. Imagine how those struggles would magnify with medical bills mounting coupled with the loss of one income.
I am asking those who are able and feel inclined for your donations and prayers for Jim and his family.
I know that Jim and his entire family will be very grateful for your generosity. Even if you can't give monetarily, please keep them in your prayers as they go through this very hard stage in their life.
All donations will be used for medical and or household bills.
I personally thank you for your thoughts, prayers and donations.
Karl
