Ayla's Angels - Medical Support

Donation protected
Ayla is a month shy of being 1 year old. She was looking forward to a teddy bear picnic for her birthday, but she will most likely be spending her 1st birthday in the hospital finishing her first round of chemotherapy. Now Ayla needs Angels to help support her and her family through their journey with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
It all started when she started walking, yes walking, at 10 months old and started getting lots of bruises from fumbling around with mastering this new skill. However, the bruises were not getting better and her parents decided to have a Dr. check her out on July 18th. From there it has been a whirlwind. The Dr. called her back the same day with results of blood test. Ayla had low platelets and needed to go to the ER for further evaluation. Once at the ER it wasn't long before they were told they would need to go to a Children's Hospital an hour and half away. Ayla and her mother, Sara, took the trip that night in an ambulance. Mike, her father had a chance to run home and grab a couple of things before following them there.
Once at the Children's Hospital answers started coming and they realized it was going to be a long stay. They had almost nothing with them. They will be staying in a small room because they can't afford to go anywhere else. Mike is planning on traveling back and forth so that he can continue to work to be able to keep things going, but I am asking you to consider helping this amazing family be together through this journey. All they are asking for are your prayers.
Sara is my sister. She doesn't know how amazing she is. She puts her life in the Lord's hands and  is continually giving to others, even if it means she goes without. Now it is our turn to give to her. Her family needs help to pay for Ayla's medical expenses, as well as their basic bills, and living expenses.
I talked with Sara this morning and she was so positive about everything going on medically, but when I told her people wanted to help her financially too, she became speechless. The love and support she has received so far has overwhelmed her with appreciation. Please help me show her that she is appreciated too. And if you can't donate, please take just a moment to say a prayer.

The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you   - Numbers 6:25
