Christine Roth’s Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On July 4th, Christine DeAndrea and Matthew Roth had their fairytale wedding. These Highschool sweethearts have been together through it all. On July 5th, Matt and Christine departed to Mexico for their honeymoon as husband and wife. Towards the end of their first day Christine began to feel ill. Christine was rushed to the emergency room with 104.5 fever, a bad rash, and an inability to feel her feet. After quite a bit of testing everything was coming back inconclusive. Christine’s vitals were worsening and she wasn’t responding well to antibiotics and was transferred to the ICU at Galenia Hospital in Cancun.

Christine was found to be septic and in septic shock. Her blood pressure was dangerously low and her heart rate incredibly high. Matt was no longer allowed to see his wife. She was diagnosed with a systemic bacterial infection and was no longer in septic shock but at a high risk. A variety of tests and scans were run, but were still coming back ruling out all possible theories. Christine was placed on respirator and sedated for comfort measures and an effort to stabilize her.

Most recently, the doctors were able to determine a cause. Christine is currently being treated on a rigorous course of medications and the plan is
to medevac her to Ft Lauderdale once she is stabilized.

Matt and Christine both have insurance and even had travel insurance but are still running into some financial issues. In order to allow Christine to be able to leave Mexico some of these financial burdens need to be resolved.

Please consider sharing and donating to allow our beloved Christine to come back to the United States and continue to receive the care she needs.
