Save Spirit and Olga's Home

Deanna Kingston was a beloved professor and researcher with Oregon State University, and a proud Inupiat woman and scholar. Upon her passing she left her house to her amazing and resilient parents, Olga Muktoyuk Kingston and Rex Spirit Kingston, to live in until the house would be passed to her son. The house now needs a new roof.

Unforseen stipulations in the will have made it such that the Muktoyuk-Kingstons must have the money to fix the roof by the end of August or they will be evicted. All proceeds will go to a new roof.

This is not what Deanna would have wanted, and would be heartbreaking to two peacful and wise elders and friends -- who wish to live out their lives in the home that their daughter provided.
