Lindsay's Medical Mystery
Donation protected

When the headache intensified and Lindsay lost her peripheral sight in her left eye, our only option was an ER visit which resulted in an 8 day hospital stay. I watched her be given countless different variations of medications that just weren't working. The hospital's doctors admitted they were ill-equipped for her symptoms and released her with little hope.
In the past 4 months all treatments have been exhausted and I have watched my daughter confine herself to a cold, dark bedroom 24/7 with no ability to escape the horrific pain nor venture into the light. She was forced to take a hiatus from school and had to leave her job at the University. Her specialists have all agreed her hope lies at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. My goal is that she find a quality of life in which she may function and flourish. Medical bills have been through the roof for us and income quite limited.
We have an appointment the beginning of September at the Mayo and will be there a minimum of one week. We are in need of monetary help with travel, lodging, meals, medications, bills and future care for Lindsay.
As a parent, we never want to see our children suffer. My child has suffered with an intractable migraine/cluster headache every single day since the beginning of April. We ask you to follow our story and give, if not in a monetary way, then by prayer and good thoughts. Thank you for your support.
