Please help my dad grieve without vet bills

Hello everyone. This is my dads dog and love of his life, Fiona. Fiona has had a rough couple of weeks after having emergency surgery to remove a blockage in her stomach. During surgery, they had to remove over a foot of her intestine in order to save her life. Unfortunately, she had to go back to the ER because they believed they forgot a portion of the dying tissue which created a bacterial infection. My dad would do absolutely anything for Fiona but that comes with overwhelming costs of vet bills. He is already now over $20,000* deep in bills for her surgeries and they keep piling up. We want our sweet girl to come home healthy, anything you are willing to share is appreciated. Thank you!
* update - unfortunately Fiona passed away during surgery, she was only 4 years old. I would love to be able to help my dad cover some of the expenses from the vet so he can grieve in peace. This is a tragic and unexpected loss for him and I want to do all I can to support him during this time.
