This is Diamond she came into my care at 6 weeks old with deformed legs. She was going to be euthanized and I agreed to take her into rescue. Right now we are working towards funding enough to afford her specialist appointments and surgery. We may have to increase to further cover the costs of the surgery. Her legs are not her only issues that will require surgeries. She also apparently has had a liver shunt and that has caused her to have strenuous seizures. She was born on Valentine’s Day. I got her 6 weeks old from a friend who knows I rescue the broken dogs the throw away pups. She has already been to see our vets several times due to seizures and other medical problems. We need help as all her surgeries could cost up to 20 thousand dollars according to my vets. I need help to get her into a specialist Raised $1200 For an angiogram MRI ASAP. Diamond is on the schedule for August 9th the soonest I can get in. The shunt surgery will be $5-6 thousand dollars. We are doing a little at a time. She can get her legs done at a later date. I also sell pet clothes to help cover vetting costs. Wild Child Pet Fashions all money goes to the rescues.
She is still developing and her right front leg is growing twisted and one longer than the other. Her hind legs are both crooked and one is shorter than the other and it’s backwards the other is twisting a bit more, the bone is longer as well. The surgeries on her legs we will hold off on. But the shunt is urgent. She walks like a seal and hops like a bunny when playing. She also goes a bit crazy at times and can be a little vixen because of her chemical imbalance. So she literally loses her mind at times. At this time we are doing everything possible to help her. She is a hospice case and we are doing everything we can to help.
