Einstein’s Medical Bills. RIP Baby Boy❤️

Donation protected
Hello to everyone taking the time to read into the tragedy that recently happened to our family. On Monday, June 28th we took our beautiful normal healthy dog to get neutered. We knew it would take a while for him to heal and he would need a little more extra care than usual however after 2 days from the procedure he started to vomit everything in his system. After two days of him continuously vomiting we contacted the place where he got neutered and we were asked to bring him in for a post op check up. We brought him in that day and we were told that his incision looked good and that he was okay and it should just be the medication or anesthesia from the procedure. So we were advise to wait 24 hours and then put him on a strict diet. Later on that day his vomiting got worse and turned into a reddish brownish color and from that point at 2am me and my boyfriend decided to rush him to a 24 hour vet clinic. Considering the condition he was in they took him in right away but still had to wait for a doctor until the following day. We were told that he was super malnourished and needed X-rays because they assumed with all the symptoms he had that there was an obstruction in the stomach meaning he had swallowed something he shouldn’t have. The X-rays confirmed there was something in his intestines and considering the location he needed surgery. We agreed to anything to save our baby. Sadly the bad news continued and we were told that it looked like Einstein was going into kidney failure and he couldn’t go into surgery so unstable. So we had to wait another two days until he was stable enough for surgery. We finally had reached the day of his surgery only to be called and told that it wasn’t an obstruction but a mass. Our baby Einstein only had less then 15% chance of living a normal life if he survived the surgery of them removing the mass. Even surviving the surgery had complications such as chemo, more medication, and more hospitalization for possibly the rest of the life he had. It was the hardest decision to ever make but we decided to no longer let him suffer and put him to rest. Although we fought hard and did everything we could do for him it sadly wasn’t enough. We are completely broken and no longer have our baby but are still left with a burden of over 4,000 dollars worth of medical expenses.

Our Einstein was the sweetest boy out there and he was definitely an eye catcher. Of course in public he would put up a tough guy front but he was always the biggest baby. Everyone who knew and met him fell in love because he was that one dog you could always depend on to lift your spirits with his silly ways. Like all dogs he was part of the family and was loved very deeply. Only 5 years old and gone so soon. I’m sure many understand the pain of losing your best friend your baby.

Anything is deeply appreciated even if it just a share. The funds will be going towards Einstein’s medical bills as well as his cremation. And from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for taking the time to donate or even share Einstein’s story❤️.
