On Saturday, June 24th, 2017, my beloved sister, Nitza Latorre, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.  She fought a seven year battle against stage 4 breast cancer and showed her amazing and steadfast strength and quiet bravery to the very end.  She was a beautiful soul; full of life, compassion, kindness and love for her family and friends.  She touched the lives of everyone who knew her.  She is survived by her husband, Jose, and their two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Natalia.

The past few days have been a whirlwind of love and support and is a testament to all the lives my sister has touched throughout her journey.  As education was extremely important to Nitza, with that in mind, this memorial page was created for any donations to be made to Isabella and Natalia’s education fund.  Again, thank you for the outpouring of love and support being sent our way.  In Memory of Nitza Latorre
