Wanderers ESSU Explorer Scouts Summer Camp

This summer, the Wanderers ESSU Explorer Scouts are setting their sights on more than just another badge — they're planning the adventure of a lifetime with a summer camp on the island of Guernsey.

Guernsey offers the perfect mix of outdoor adventure, exploration, and learning. The trip will give our Explorers the chance to:

• Experience exciting challenges like coasteering, kayaking, and island hikes.

• Build leadership, independence, and resilience in a new environment.

• Strengthen friendships, teamwork, and life skills.

• Make unforgettable memories that will stay with them long after the summer ends.

But before the tents go up and the campfires are lit, there’s a challenge to conquer: a sponsored walk to help fund their journey. On Sunday 27th April 2025, our Explorers will be trekking 18 miles of the Ridgeway to raise money for their camp. Every mile walked represents determination, teamwork, and the spirit of Scouting — values that define the Wanderers ESSU. And if there’s one thing the Wanderers ESSU are known for, it’s never backing down from a challenge!

Whether it’s £5 or £50, every donation goes toward transport, meals, activities, and camp essentials. And every step they take brings them closer to an unforgettable experience. Thank you for your support!
