Giving A-Rob a chance at life

Donation protected
A-Rob is a 9 week old German Shepherd puppy that needs surgery for a condition called PRAA (Persistent Right Aortic Arch).  PRAA is a congenital anomaly of the blood vessels of the heart that results in constriction of the esophagus.

When A-Rob was 4 weeks old he was introduced to puppy kibble but during every feeding he would cry, paw his face and regurgitate some food back up.  It was heart breaking to watch the poor guy try to eat. Our Veterinarian did an exam with barium radiographs and he was then diagnosed with this terrible condition.  After lots of research and talking with the doctors, we learned that this condition with corrective surgery, has a very good prognosis.  Unfortunately, this is an open heart surgery with a specialist and is very expensive.

I know that many would just put him to sleep but if you ever met him, he is full of life and wants to live.. not to mention the cutest fluff ball with a huge personality.

We are reaching out to our family, friends and those that love dogs to help us give A-Rob a chance at a great life.

The surgery will be done at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine,Tufts University in North Grafton Massachusetts.  Any extra proceeds will be donated to the school.
