Melissa's Cancer Sucks Medical Fund

Growing up in the Tim & Cindy Cannell household, almost every complaint and whine was met with three words. Suck. It. Up. Compassion was never in short supply, but we were taught to push through, to work hard, to not give up. My sister Melissa has done just that these last few months. In February, she was diagnosed with Stage 3A Invasive Ductile Carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer. She's pushed through countless appointments with numerous specialists informing her of things that no one is really ever prepared to hear. She's done her very best to suck it up through six rounds of chemotherapy and is preparing for her upcoming surgery and radiation. Melissa has been through the wringer physically, emotionally, mentally and now all of her bills are beginning to come in.
