Prayers for Stella's Heart

If you don't know my brother, Jason and his wife, Victoria, you would love to know them. I have watched them both grow from young teenagers to hard working adults and wonderful parents. They have faced many trials in between including two miscarriages. I have cried with them as Victoria had to deliver their child who was no longer living and I have rejoiced with them as they celebrated the birth of their little boy Jett, who will be 2 in September. Most recently we have been rejoicing about the upcoming birth of their sweet little girl, Stella Rey, due September 30th. Last week, during a regular ultrasound the doctor noticed an abnormality in Stella's heart. He sent them to a Perinatal Specialist who confirmed what the doctor saw and today a Pediatric Cardiologist gave them an unofficial diagnosis of Pulmonary Atresia with Intact Ventricular Septum. Next week they will travel to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston for definitive diagnosis and to form a treatment plan with the hospital including Victoria having to give birth to Stella in Houston so she can be treated immediately with medicine and surgery to repair her heart. We believe in the power of prayer. Above everything else we appreciate any prayers for healing of Stella's heart and strength for the journey for Jason and Victoria.
