Hello, my name is Khadija a trans black 18 year old. Recently my mother kicked me out for coming out as trans when i turned 17 and i was/am homeless, i had a few options but in the end only one was the safest to move to SC to stay with a friend who attends the university. I have applied for several jobs and have gotten them all but due to my birth mother "losing" my vital records i cant get an ID to verify who i am. I have no family but amazing friends who are all young and trying their best to help me but i am running out of options. Unfortunetly many of my friends families cant take me in due to already having too many dependants but i have faith and am still trying the best i can. Anything helps sharing,donating, and raising awareness how common these stories are for children. thank you in advance- Khadija
