Ashton’s Road 2 The Junior Olympic Games

Hello!
My name is Ashton Griffin and I live in Millen, Georgia. I’m 11 years old and I’m a rising 6th grader at Johnson County Middle School in Wrightsville, Georgia. 

I enjoy competing in a variety of sports. I participate in football, basketball, cross country and track and field. I was fortunate enough to qualify for the Track and Field Junior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas. I will be competing in Pentathlon which consists of the following events; long jump, high jump, shot-put throw, 80 meter hurdles and the 1500 meter run. I will also compete in the 3000 meter run.

My parents gave me the task of taking on the responsibility on my own to raise money to cover the travel expenses to Houston, Texas. No matter the donation amount, I’m extremely thankful. Even if you can’t leave a donation, prayers and words of encouragement are also appreciated.
