Hey everyone we know and love,
Our beautiful Ford Escape that was lovingly given to us before Zabriskie was born finally died on us, and was scrapped for parts. We used all of our savings to purchase an SUV from an acquaintance which turned out to be one of the worst experiences of our lives. The person absolutely grifted us and refused to undo the deal and get our money back as some of you already know. We looked into legal action and if we actually succeed in winning in small claims we are aware that this individual won’t ever pay out, so we’re cutting our losses, lesson learned and moving on. We need to make a down payment on a new car, and that’s where you come in. It’s hard to ask for help, but we’re very hard working honest people and feel so embarrassed for assuming the best in other people. So at this point we would like to ask for help to at least make up what we lost in order to make that down payment. We have qualified for a loan and are already looking at a new 2009 Ford Escape at Carmax this weekend before our work/family trip. Theatres are finally opening up and Ingrid might be able to start working again.
We know that so many people are also having a hard time, but would appreciate any help that our community can offer us right now.
Hopefully soon we’ll be back to our old selves who will be able to offer help to others who need it.
