My name is Kimberly Jacobs and this weekend, some wonderful friends of mine found this pitbull mix hidden deep into the bushes in the city of Huntington Park. He had zero energy, cuts and abrasions all over his face and legs, and was terrified to come out of his hiding place. We are not sure if he was a part of dog fighting or if he was hit by a car. Either way, this boy has gone through the wringer.

With the help of amazing people who teamed together, he was saved (and named Odie!). He turned out to be the sweetest, cuddliest, kindest pittie on the planet! All he wants is love, and lots of it.

Since the day he was found (Friday, 08/19), his condition has unfortunately gotten severely worse. He has been throwing up constantly (could not even hold down water) and has had frequent diarrhea. This morning (Monday, 08/22), a vet at VCA confirmed that he has parvo.

This additional cost and overnight vet time is adding up in expenses, but we will not give up on Odie! We hope that any and everyone can find it in their hearts to donate anything at all. Extra change, one dollar, five dollars, anything to save this pup. 

His luck deserves to change and it's up to us to make this happen. 

I know Odie will be eternally grateful and will give you a big, wet, doggie kiss when he pushes through this awful virus!

Also, if there is any hestiation to pay through gofundme, he is currently getting care at the VCA in Marina on Lincoln. He will be transfered to the Inland Valley Veterinary specialists & Emergency Center in Upland, CA tonight (08/22) in order for him to have 24 hour care.
