Hi, I am Jae Monroe (Vocals) the co-founding member of the "Legendary Anarcho Punk band (A).P.P.L.(E).  I've been living with my guitarist /husband for 22 years and we've just had a very nasty breakup. He refuses to give me any money or even care if I end up homeless. I have 5 days to find a place to live. I have been living for almost 4 years in a tiny town in upstate NY and it's just awful. Plus I've had some medical issues that prevented me from working. I am forgetting who I am living here and I need to get a new life started. I grieve for my relationship that died but this too shall pass. Especially if any of my friends or fans would like to contribute anything they can. Whether it be $1.00 or higher I need all the help I can get. Social Services in this county is not helping me enough. I am a professional vocalist and musician for over 30 years now. I've given a lot to the punk scene, played benefits for all kinds of causes, never made any money from the sales of my records/cd's. And even have people out there making merchandise of my own band without my permission which I don't see a dime for or even get any of my own t-shirts, records, cd's, patches, you name it; I am living in poverty. All I want to do is to start singing again and to be able to provide entertainment for those who enjoy my music. I've never asked anyone for anything like this before. I've been super humble and hate to accept charity because I would rather be giving it. However, I really need help. I was homeless once with my man and siberian husky and it was not pleasant.  So please my friends find it in your hearts to help me get out of this poverty stricken rut I'm in and get back to performing for you and possibly teaching who would want to learn how to read music since I do have a B.A. in music. For everyone who does decide that I am a worthy cause I thank you from my very soul. You will have helped a woman who is in desperate need to start a new life.
