In memory of Chris Smith
We are raising funds to help Chris’ widow, Angela. Please join in.
Chris Smith was a bright light. Angela shared with us that he truly enjoyed going to work each day and felt lucky to work with such an amazing group of people. We're told he would come home in the evening, always with a smile on his face, and recount stories of his day. He made many good friends at Ricoh and PH&N and he had looked forward to catching up with everyone upon his return to work. Chris brought warmth, fun and kindness to all his relationships, personal and professional. He fostered lasting friendships and touched many lives with his humour and can-do approach. It was clear that he loved his wife, his dogs and his job. It is obvious by the many condolences Angela has received, that Chris touched many people's lives. She's grateful to everyone who sent messages, texts, emails, cards etc. during his illness - they meant more to him than you can imagine. The family is planning a celebration of life for Chris next February on his 50th birthday. Hopefully the pandemic will have settled down and more people will be able to attend.
Funds raised will help cover the celebration of life and go towards helping Angela remain in their home until she can get it ready for sale. Unfortunately, Chris was declined for all life and mortgage insurance due to his medical history and she's now scrambling to rearrange budgets to continue to make mortgage payments until their home is sold. A few extra dollars would allow her more time provide some relief from the financial pressures.
Let’s help ease the anguish of Chris’ passing for Angela.
