My brother Eric (Jared) caught covid and it didn’t hit him well. His oxygen level has dropped and continues to drop, so due to this he’s had to be intubated (sedated/ put into a coma). Unfortunately my brother has developed pneumothorax causing the doctors to have to puncture his lungs to drain fluid and help inflate his lungs. My brother needs to be put on ECMO treatment in order to pump and oxygenate his blood and lungs, which is basically preparing him for a lung transplant and they only have ECMO treatment in other hospitals pretty far from McAllen so he’s going to have to be transported. They are currently looking for hospitals in Houston, Dallas, and temple to see who can take him, and God willing they do that’ll require us to pay for transportation and all the procedures. Literally anything will help, my family and I don’t like asking for money but in this time we really need any help we can get. My brother is 23, and just had a baby this past September; he’s so full of life and has so much to offer. We need him and his baby needs him. Please help with anything possible.
