My son, Brian Atkinson, needs help.
His 6-month-old daughter, Aurionna, goes into surgery tomorrow, 7/20, to correct a severe cleft lip and palette. They were told they would get assistance for housing (since this is 70 miles from their home and need to be near the hospital). But that fell through.
Their costs for this week of housing, meals, travel, etc. is around $500. They could use the help from those who can.
Brian was in the Marines for 9 years - 5 tours to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. He has taken a leave of absence from work for 6 months to care for his daughter, so funds are short.
