I have made this GoFundMe for my best friend and her family as they are facing some very heartbreaking trials at this time. Jenna and Wyatt, parents of now three, brought the most beautiful baby boy into the world, Allen Jace, on October 31st, 2025. Everything was going perfectly until the unexpected happened. Baby Allen started experiencing respiratory distress, and they immediately rushed him to the ER, thinking he possibly had a bad cold or infection. After many tests, they were given the news that he has a congenital heart defect: Coarctation of the aorta, which in short terms means the main artery that pumps blood from his tiny little heart throughout his body is narrowed. They life-flighted him to MUSC to allow their cardio team to take over. As he has been in their care, baby Allen has also been diagnosed with rhinovirus. They are having to wait to make sure he has enough antibiotics to be strong enough to handle his surgery. Wyatt, Jenna's husband, will be out on FMLA (unpaid family medical leave). He is the breadwinner for their family, as Jenna is a stay-at-home mama. I want to make sure they are able to take care of bills, groceries for their babies, and any expenses in the days to come.
