My amazing nephew

Family is one of the most important things in life, next to good health of course. It was one of the worst days for my family when my sister told us they discovered my 14 year old nephew had a brain tumor. The oldest child, oldest grandchild, oldest nephew, leader of the pact, sweet, funny, smart, strong, amazing 14 year old boy who is admired by his friends and looked up to by his siblings and cousins. After weeks of grueling testing we are finally getting some answers, all the while his spirits high and sense of humor shining through to lighten the mood and keep the adults calm. Yes, you read that right, 14 and keeping everyone around him in check.
He has a rare brain tumor, 1 case per million are diagnosed per year. His rare brain tumor will require extensive surgery (hopefully only one) that even if the insurance will cover will still cost an astronomical amount out of pocket, followed by daily treatments. Due to the rare nature of the tumor finding a surgeon has not been easy. The family has other children and needs help covering medical costs, living costs and travel costs as the surgery and treatment will likely be out-of-state.
Because when it rains it pours, the families only car died, and they have to move as soon as possible from their current rental. Between the medical bills, need for a car and need for housing you can only imagine how financially stretched they are.
No one should ever have to experience such a disease, let alone a child. Its a difficult time as is without factoring in the finances. Our family has a long road ahead and my nephew and his family need all the financial help they can get to alleviate that portion of concern through this process. We thank everyone that can help!
