Jake's Charitable Memorial Pot

This is a page setup to allow persons wishing to donate charitable funds in the memory of the beautiful Jake Minors White, who sadly lost his battle with cancer 17/07/2016.
It was Jake's biggest wish to organise a charitable action for the cancer ward in which he spent a lot of his adult life, including some birthdays. It was Jake's idea to walk/cycle to Scotland, something we hoped to arrange together when he was better. Unfortunately Jake was not able to get better this time despite his and his doctor's efforts.
I am aware that people may wish to donate some money in the memory of Jake and it seems only appropriate that any donations should be given to Ward 62 at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The nurses and doctors there adored Jake and cared for him over the years. Jake wanted to thank the staff and brighten up the lives of the young adults visiting the ward and day unit. As the local specialist cancer center for the region, it is likely that you may one day find yourself or your family in the care of amazing (but boring) ward and day unit.

Jake's funeral will be held at Westbury-on-Trym Crematorium on Friday the 5th of August at 15:30. All friends are invited to attend and we ask that you please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of service. Myself and his family have decided to cremate Jake, so we may take him once more to the places he loved. Please note that Jake's family would like everyone to dress comfortably, afterall Jakey loved colour! On the advice of the funeral director, I have organised this page so anyone wishing for an alternative to flowers could give as little or much as they want and know it will be directed to where Jake would have wanted.
However little, any money donated will be used to provide entertainment or objects of comfort for all visitors of ward 62 and the day unit.
