Tim Palmer's long road to recovery

Donation protected
Anyone that knows my dad, knows how much of a stand up guy he is. He is always lending a helping hand to anyone and everyone that needs it. He would give the shirt off his back to someone that could use it more than him. If you know that much about him, then you probably also know that he never expects anything in return for giving a helping hand. He's never one to ask or accept any sort of payment or help given in return. That's what this is all about.

With his recent accident, it's put him in a pretty bad spot physically, mentally, and emotionally. Of course, 9 broken ribs, a punctured and collapsed lung and a broken collar bone will do that to even the toughest man I know. The road to recovery is going to be a long and painful one but if anyone can push through it, it would be my dad.

Never in a million years would my dad ask for any type of payment from friends or family members which is why I am doing it for him. He's been the best father figure to both me and my sisters and has taught us to be the same way, to work hard to get what you want and don't rely on others. However, desperate times call for desperate measures. Obviously sheet metal work, tinkering on cars and bikes, cutting wood, and any other activity that he always does is a long ways away.

Not being able to work and do the things he loves puts added stress on him and my mom. That's the last thing that they need. So in an effort to help them I created this. Any amount of money donated, no matter how big or small, is appreciated more than words can say. It will be used to pay off medical expenses, and help my mom pay the mortgage to keep their dream house they have been working so hard to get for so many years. I know as soon as he is able he is going to kill me for even making this, but I'll take my chances . He has helped many people over the years and never asked for anything in return. Now, although he will disagree, it's time for him to unwillingly receive a helping hand.

We all appreciate the prayers, love, support, and thoughts of so many friends and family as everyone continues to help him on the road to recovery and get him back to being the best husband, father, uncle, brother, co-worker, and friend anyone could ask for.

Thank you so much.

Love,
The Palmer family
