Hi everyone!

My name is Eden and I am going to be a freshman attending Marymount Manhattan College studying Business with a concentration in fashion marketing starting August 2021. Last year at this time, my mom, who was my best friend and legal guardian, passed away. I was placed with my father because I was a minor at the time. I had no relationship with my father which made living with him for these months difficult. The living situation continued to worsen, luckily I managed to finally move into my aunts at the beginning of February, up until last week. After saving up and finally becoming a legal adult, my sister and I moved to New York City to pursue our futures. My tuition for school is extremely expensive and since I do not have someone to co-sign on a loan, this makes it even more difficult. I am currently in the process of removing my father from my FASFA and receiving a dependency override, which would lessen my tuition, as right now with him on my FAFSA I recieve no financial aid. I’m working a full time job that I just got in New York and am saving every penny. If you are in the situation that allows you to donate, I thank you so much. If not, no worries at all.
