For those who don't know me, my name is Rebecca.  I was born with a condition called Spina Bifida that caused me to be paralyzed from the waist down. As time went I developed a condition Arnold Chari Malformation which basically means spinal fluid goes to the brain but can not drain. This causes my brain to swell. One of the many side effects of Chari is that my Syrinx expands due to the fluid in my spine.This has made me lose feeling in my right side and sometimes my left hand. I'm now using a motor chair to get around. We have a car but we can't use the motor chair if we take it. Where as before I could transfer from bed to chair, chair to car, it now causes sores due to the friction. Any money donated will strictly go for purchasing a van with a lift.
