My daughter, Mariah, was born with ataxic cerebral palsy, a third degree heart block, and most recently diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (a form of progressive blindness). She is 7 years old and is an extremely courageous young girl. Due to her impairments she is unable to stand or walk independently. I, Mariah's father, am a physical therapist and I am raising funds to purchase a hands free walker so that my child may move more independently with other children and their extracurricular activities.
