the Professional tattooing assoc. of Australia is raising funds to support a challenge of legal points in the NSW Tattoo parlors act. The money donated will be distributed to our Legal representatives, and as directed by the associations commitee, in accordance with our constitution. The current legislation has been in force in NSW for over 3 years, with no review, industry consultation or enforcement to "backyarders" or unlicensed operators.
Funds are needed asap as Tattooists livelyhood and families are being crushed by discriminating laws and rules. While many have fled the state or now tattoo "underground" , we have been refused fair input or consultation, been denied help and ignored. Funds raised will be used to make change, raise awareness and support legal representation.
