Fannie Alford, Lost everything in apartment fire

Our Dear Friends, Church Family and Sorors. On Friday evening June 11, 2021 my dearest friend, Fannie Alford which is a single parent to her son Brendan Bowens. The family experienced a catastrophic loss due to an electrical fire in her apartment unit at 

Landings at Lake Gray Apartments. They have lost everything in that fire and were unable to grab any possessions, and watched everything they own be consumed by flames, smoke, water. Unfortunately, they are presently displaced and in need of temporary or permanent housing, placement of belongs and basic daily needs. I’m so grateful that they both are safe and unharmed but they are in need of financial help from our community. Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and I’m hoping we can help alleviate some of the stress, anxiety, and fear of the unknown that she is facing as they begin to rebuild. Here are some of her needs First months rent, deposit recovery, cleanup, restoration services, food utilities for one month, furniture, and Household Goods. Every single donation helps. She would really appreciate it if you would pray share and/or donate to this GoFundMe or her Zelle: [phone redacted].

 Anyone that knows this  AMAZING Mother, knows just how caring, thoughtful, loving, spiritual and giving she is. Fannie participates in community  service and has been actively involved in 2 Church Homes Baptist and Nondenominational Church Affiliations Orange Park an Florida as well as the following programs, Community Service Volunteer, Quigley House; Organization for  Domestic Violence Services, One more Affiliation Parent Helping Parents (PHP), Building Brighter Futures for Children with Special Needs. Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Advisory Board Member Clay County YMCA, Alumni of Virginia State University, Hampton University and Florida State College of Jacksonville, Activist for the Prevention of Homelessness and PTA fundraising for her son’s school Discovery Oaks Elementary.
