Hello My name is LaDonna Gatson, I’m a 32 year old single mother of 4 kids from El Dorado, Arkansas on June 21st 2021 my second oldest child LaDontrea Miller who is 13 years old was involved in a accident in which him & one of his friends were on a moped and collided with a truck. LaDontrea & his friend were ejected from the moped they both sustained several injuries due to accident. LaDontrea’s injuries have him in ICU & they include a raptured spleen in which he had to have emergency surgery to remove his spleen after the surgery he was airlifted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas He also lost most of his teeth in which we will meet with an oral surgeon to correct that at a later date, he broke both jaws in which they had to put screws in both jaws and two plates in his chin, awaiting results for chest x-rays, he broke both wrist in several places but the left wrist is the worst and his bones may be too damaged to be saved in the left wrist, he broke his left leg and has had to have surgery to repair his femur the surgery lasted 4-5 hours on June 22nd 2021 along with the surgery to his jaws. On June 22nd 2021 LaDontrea was taken off the vent and is now on a Nasal Cannula to help with his breathing. LaDontrea has also suffered from his blood pressure dropping for periods of times and had to receive two units of blood on Day 1 & 2 and it has elevated to high on Day 3. We have no idea how long we will have to be here in Little Rock nor how long LaDontrea will have before he fully recovers or how many more surgeries all donations are greatly appreciated & no donation is too small. Also look for Tavio Eddington Jr His go fund me from his moms he has swelling and bleeding on the brain he is in the burn unit where they will continue to monitor the swelling every 2 hours later he will have to have skin taken from other parts of his body to repair the skin.
