Tyler's medical expenses

On July 16, 2016 Melissa got the call no parent ever wants to get, her 15 year old son Tyler was in a tragic accident which resulted in the loss of his father. Tyler was a passenger on his father's motorcycle on their way to a concert together when they were hit by another car.

Tyler was admitted to the hospital in serious condition with bleeding in his brain. His status improved to stable condition after further scans determined the bleeding had stopped. He is currently sedated so he can continue to heal. His chin is broken and separated from the rest of his jaw and the remaining parts of his jaw is either dislocated or fractured. Tyler has recieved stitches in two sections of his face from where a tooth punctured his cheek, he is also missing 4-5 teeth on his bottom jaw. Tyler also suffers from 2 broken and 2 fractured ribs along with broken eye socket. They have done multiple neurological exams and he is progressing. He opens his eyes, wiggles his toes and holds his moms hand tight at the sound of her voice. He is aware of who is talking to him and kicks his legs when you insult his and his father's favorite team, the NY Giants. He will be having surgery to have a feeding tube directly in his stomach and shortly will be having surgery to repair and wire his jaw shut for 4-6 weeks. Tyler has shown since birth he is a very strong and determined boy. Tyler has a long road ahead of him to full recovery and any donation to Melissa would be greatly appreciated to help ease some of the many financial worries for medical expenses she will have.
