Kaylie  is a11 month old little Angel that was born with CCAM/pulmonary sequestration which required surgical removal due to respiratory abnormalities that can occur and risk for cancer as a young adult. Kaylie form of this "condition" was a complex form that had three vessels coming from the aorta into the CCAM which is essentially a lung mass. During surgery they had to remove the vessels by closing them off and remove the mass. While removing the mass her staples reopened resulting in two of those vessels opening and resulting in significant blood loss that sent her into cardiac arrest. They spent thirty minutes performing CPR and gave her blood. In this thirty minute window though there were vital organs not receiving their necessary oxygenated blood which caused several side effects. Kaylie had some seizure activity they got under control but her MRI has shown that the Brain did receive some damage to certain parts however we don't know the significance of the damage. She is still on a ventilator . Kaylie has made great strides but needs to continue to make more.  Her parnets are by her side and needless to say they will have lots of medical bills that insurance will not cover. This is away to try and help Kaylie and her parnets during the time in the hospital and doctor vists to come.  God Bless this little Angel and bring her through this and back to as much as a normal life Kaylie can have. Kaylie is such a sweet loving little girl that has always been happy even though she had this before birth . Kaylie needs lots of prayers and support as possible.
